This forum has been a great help in getting me started with the engagement ring purchase. I'm getting closer to a selection and thought I would ask the input of this community for advice.
I am looking for a radiant stone, somewhere between 1.75 and 2.25 carats. The other 3 Cs are equally important, and I'm really looking to get the best value in a stone in this size range, while still having a very attractive stone. Generally speaking I'm thinking VS1/VS2, F-H and a VG/excellent cut. Flexible on all items to get the smartest purchase, and hopefully paying attention to table and depth.
Emerald and round cuts are also options, if smarter options.
Here are some diamonds I have looked over, if a little on the high side:
Blue Nile

I will need to select a setting too, and am just beginning on that phase. Any suggestions on getting the stone to a jeweler are warmly welcomed also.
Thanks in advance to the users here. It's a nice bunch.
