I'm looking for some advice on getting a pendant made (which my partner sadly lost and you can't buy it any more).
It's a small pendant - 16mm tall x 9mm wide, the original was silver but I'm looking to get it re-made in platinum, with a row of diamonds down one side (as per the photo below).
Would hand-forged platinum or CAD/cast platinum be a better route for re-creating this? - or would either method be just as suitable as the other?
Also, would hand-forged be heavier than CAD/cast platinum?
Any advice much appreciated!
Thanks
