Firstly I would like to thank all PS''ers for all your support and advice over the last few weeks! It''s always harrowing purchasing a large expensive item from a far away location(I live in ireland, bought from the states) without a familiar face at the other end of the email. You were all great at offering me practical advice and reassuring me of all my neuroses. I would really have had little other objective means of finding out the information myself from a biased vendor or jeweller.

Here are some pictures of my new 2.2ct round brill, VS2, D colour, GIA ex/ex/ex ering! Haven''t really figured out how to take fantastic pictures like all of you but I try! My ring size is a 4.75.

My own e-ring is a D VS2. Love that combo!

Which vendor did you use?

EEK! I love a surprise diamond!

WOW, what a gorgeous stone and setting...classic and stunning..

More....more...please!

Gorgeous setting!! Congrats! The diamond looks huge on your tiny finger!

Your ring is so beautiful on your finger. I, too, love surprise diamonds.

Wow, wow and wow!!! It''s gorgeous Sharry, and looks so huge on your hand. Love the setting, congrats!!! More pics, can never have enough!!!

Jazmine, I used Uniondiamond. Tony recommended this lovely diamond and the rest was history. It was the first I looked at and the one I bought. Lucky in that regard, although, I think for my wedding band (I''d love an eternity!), I might go with a vender with magnified/BS/IS images. They were unable to offer this service to me as they didn''t have camera''s attached to their scopes so I kept my fingers crossed! I''m having the ring appraised on fri...will keep everyone posted!
I''ve had to bribe my parrot, Elvis away from my hand all week with a share of my dinner!! He LOVES shiny things and quite a many times, managed to pluck the ring off my finger! I''d post a pic of him playing tug a war with my ering but I think quite a few of you will have a heart attack! Heehee
