My 2ct I colored stone came in at 2.05, 8.1mm, just for further data.

Here’s the color again, next to some natural F’s. My two previous LB stones, one 1ct princess, one 1 1/4ct princess, were both high Gs or F. 54CEDF42-E05A-4DA8-904A-ACCC970F984B.jpeg

I took my stone out in the sunlight today- it’s actually really pretty! I still have some heartburn over buying a stone where I didn’t have a say in the cut, but it has a lot of sparkle :)

Does anyone who's received theirs in the last few days have an Ideal-Scope or ASET scope and can share a picture? I'm so curious how the light return is on these!

Dang so many of the stones look gorgeous once out of the packaging and faced up. All I can do is drool for now and wait impatiently for Monday.

Me too! I'd personally prefer G-I color so I hope I don't have to buy from the finest collection to get a nice cut in a 2 ct.

I know what you mean too...which is why i am hesitant to pull the trigger. From my experience, the IDEAL and ASET of the pink lightbox wasn't too promising.... however I am willing to compromise on the cut if the color is baby pink or baby blue. But yours looks very sparkly!

Based on what I can infer from Ritini, Lightbox is worth buying only if one is getting a 1.5 c onwards, since it is cheaper from Ritini for 1 c non-colored MMD.

This is another picture of my 1.75. from the bottom. Do you see the four diamonds in the middle of the picture? That is the DeBeers logo. Only one on the stone though.

I’m still a little torn about keeping it. I already have a lab MRB that I love, it’s a K but has a really great cut that faces up well color wise. My iPhone really doesn’t do it justice :) So even though I think Lightbox sent out stones that meet their stated criteria, and price was great, I’m still “meh” on the cut. I guess I’m becoming a pricescope cut snob

Can you show them side by side? The price scope ideal and lightbox, they look about the same size.

Lol. I understand how you feel about the cut.

If you decide not to keep it, please let me take it off your hand. My sister in law is coming to her 35 anniversary. She’s raise 3 kids and has been saving all her life. She asking me about upgrading her 0.3 carat diamond ring, I think this will be a pleasant surprise for her.

oh dear, the logo makes it look like some inclusion! an inscription at the side girdle will be so much better.

I finally got the dang box open. Unfortunately it's been cloudy and the light in my apt is yellow. I don't think I see a very visible tint faceup.
My ering is F, VS1 .70 hearts of fire diamond. The bands are both from Bluenile, the all diamond is an F and the one with rubies have I diamonds. Sorry for the humongous pics, the pic attach thing is not working on my phone today.

Good morning/evening lab diamond lovers!

Loose stones just became available on the LB website up to 2cts! Currently only MRB, and the biggest ones are not their "extra special" category... but they're available to order!

Very exiting news! should we list them on our lab diamond ranking website?

I would give Lightbox a high score for value and look. Vs and good color, not too many shabby cuts

So far, I have brought a pink from them, color not as expected but the return of funds was a nightmare. Overseas buyer here,...So am still on fence for LB.

What was wrong with the pink?

I want to order their largest pink.

I think the issue with the pink is that the pink was not a consistent color from stone to stone. Some people received pale, natural looking pinks with a soft tone and some people received a very saturated salmon colored stone with deep peach undertones. If you were looking for one and got the other, or wanted a matched pair, it would be a challenge.

Indoors, under yellow light, black phone case.

I’ve been looking at ideas for warm stones and finding mostly OMC beauties. But I did find this, which I like. Does anyone know if Sako is willing to work with a lab diamond, self-sourced like this? I feel like he’d be the perfect bench for recreating and tweaking this design, but I’ve not only never worked with him myself but don’t know what his ”rules” are.

thanks @KeepStepping , you have aptly summarised my concerns. I wanted pale and not saturated pinks. I would be very thankful if anyone post their loose pinks from LB.

The early pinks were a lovely pale. The later ones were more intense.

My 1.75 carat came today, finally! So far I'm thinking the stone is quite pretty and definitely a steal at ~$1260 (got the 10% off). I think it looks very nice but when compared with my G 1.38 carat e-ring, it's maybe a shade or two darker? It's hard for me to estimate as I'm not that color sensitive, but I'm planning on setting it in yellow gold anyway. Also the lighting in this room is quite yellow. It's nice and sparkly! Can't see any inclusions. Very happy with my purchase! I'm excited to take it to the jeweler and get some exact measurements.

It'll try and get some better pictures tomorrow that are in natural lighting, this evening lighting is pretty yellow.
