Stunning. That’s a collector’s item for sure. I am surprised about the 20 motif Alhambra pieces because those are relatively available still. Yet people would be willing to buy via auction?

Hoping for a discount? (bargain would be the wrong word...:P2)

Ladies, I am feeling very VCA-emotional at the moment. I am not thinking clearly again. Help!! I love that WG signature bangle so much, maybe even more than the chalcedony. Should I trade in my chalcedony? Even if I did, the chalcedony is permanently on my To Do List. But the WG signature bangle is Moving me. But I am afraid if I return the chalcedony I may not be able to get it again later in the future, probably another year at least. Do you think the WG signature bangle will pretty permanently available? Argh!! And I may put the bangle after the pave earrings.

I think the bangle will be there later. I'd keep the chalcedony since you love it and get the bangle later. I do agree with you that the VCA bangles fit so perfectly. I love the single row diamond one, but to me it is just such a classic style and has been made in many close variations that I'd not be willing to pay the price considering it is just not recognizable as VCA compared with some of the other pieces.

And I tried on the spectacular single row pave bangle. I really like this piece. Very me. You know how you put on a piece of jewelry and it just speaks to you. Out of my price range for now but it’s spectacular. It’s definitely more me than the perlee clover.

Both bangles look great on you! You mentioned that the perlee is not for you but did you have a chance to try it on in XS? Just wondering how it fit on you as I think we have similar wrist size.

As DS mentioned, I think the bangle will be there later. The color and pattern of your chalcedony is magnificent. I’d keep the chalcedony and get the bangle later, which means you’ll have to re-prioritize your list.

Yeah. That makes sense. Keep the chalcedony. Yeah. That WG bangle better stay around. :mrgreen2: There are just some things that are perfect about certain pieces. That single row pave bracelet is one of those for me. :kiss2:

I have tried the perlee d’or before, in my size. It isn’t as comfortable to me because of the size of the perlees, I think. The shape is more oval than rectangular. My wrist is 5 inches. I think bangles are just different for different people. It may feel perfectly comfortable on you.

@LLJsmom, Q for ya: do you LOVE LOVE the chalcedony? It's GORGEOUS, but your reaction to the Signature Perlee is very strong (kind of like my reaction to the Perlee Clover and the Cartier Love pave+ceramic). Another Q: MUST you have the chalcedony? (Ok, I know there's no "must" when it comes to bling, but you know what I mean, lol).

If you love love love the chalcedony and it's a must-have for you, then keep it and wait for a while before buying the Signature Perlee.

If you can't stop thinking about the Signature Perlee, then return the chalcedony and get this instead.

Oh, LLJsmom, I totally get what you mean about the new 1-row Perlee bangle. Pics do not do it justice - at all!! I was completely enamoured with it when I first saw/ tried it on. Talk about lust at first sight!

And @eh613c, there is a slight difference in the shape of the Perlee d'Or vs the Perlee Signature . @LLJsmom is right, the fit may differ depending on one's wrists. You'd really need to go try it on in person.

(ETA: @eh613c, do you mean the Perlee d'Or or the Perlee Clover?)

My vote is for you to get both of these pieces, the Signature first and the 1-row pave later!

I meant Perlee d’or. I have a small wrist and I have a hard time finding the right bangle/bracelet. I currently have the Love cuff in 17. It sits loose at my wrist but when it goes up my arm, it doesn’t sit right. Just wondering how the Cartier bangles fit differently from VCA.

Ah, ok. IIRC, the Perlee d'Or is slightly more oval than say the Perlee Clover and is more similar to the Cartier Love's oval. But it is still a more comfy fit than the Love. HTH.

So I also stopped by Cartier in NYC. The store is amazing. It’s the biggest one in the world. I didn’t know that. I tried on their hoops which I have always admired. I would consider these in place of the VCA pave vintage Alhambra’s simply because they are more casual and I can wear them without at all feeling self conscious. I like them. They are bold and classic and appropriate for everyday wear. Only thing is I need it to be loosened. The clips are really tight. And I can’t just get them swapped for platinum posts like I can for VCA. Any thoughts? Well, I could be convinced to add these to my list rather than take the VCA piece off. I will need to think long and hard about the VCA pave vintage because I am not sure how often I would feel comfortable wearing them. I could see myself reaching for these more.

Hello ladies and gents, I’m looking for a little help. I popped into vca and Cartier last week to look for a little pick me up band thought I may get a pinky finger ring. What would you pick juc or trinity??

I think the trinity would be a safer option. However I would go for the JUC just cause it’s more unexpected for a pinky ring and it’s got way more attitude. That’s just me though.

D77898E1-6054-4798-A78C-366CE3F955E4.jpeg Thanks @LLJsmom I like them both for the reasons you posted above. I would get them both, but I’m trying not to eat into my diamond studs budget :???: as I hope to get them soon for an upcoming birthday.

Just for kicks I also tried on the vca lucky bracelet. The tennis bracelet and sweet are my own:

I’ve been thinking about my recent focus on branded pieces. I wonder if I am doing this because they are easier to buy than diamond pieces. The resale value of these pieces is quite strong which is also very appealing.

I would imagine they’re a gift from VCA, doesn’t do their brand any harm having all that publicity of having a royal wearing their jewellery.

Trinity would be my pick. I must be one of the few that just doesn't see beauty in JUC. I think it would make a good ring for my husband, though!
