I absolutely love this thread (I know, I started it-LOL). All of these solitaires with plain wedding bands are so fabulous! I can't wait to get my ring re-set into a simple solitaire with an elegant matching plain band! I will actually have to decide on a setting in the next couple of months and this thread is very helpful as I narrow down my selections.

I am also so pleased that other PS'ers have also added their sets here as well

I received 2 new bands ordered during Black Friday special at e-weddingbands.com. Super happy with the service and the quality so wanted to add to this thread for proportion reference.

ER shank is 3mm. The smaller band is 1.5mm and the larger 2.5mm. 14K WG.

WOW!! I just LOVE looking at all your classic, clean-lined stunners!! They make my double halo e-ring looking somewhat "fussy"...my sister's got a set that's quite unique, its kinda bypass set and she pairs hers with a rolling band. I would need to snap a pic for this thread, just as soon as we meet up for the holidays!!

Thank you for posting mine crystal24k. FYI I always thought I wanted a diamond band for my set and what i realize is that I just didn't love my 2mm plain band from ewedding bands. It was suppose to be domed comfort fit but I think when they made it it had a more squared edge and was flatter than I wanted even though domed. (14k rose the pics you posted). So I have a 2.5mm 18k rose from Cartier and I love the set so much more now. Feels complete. 3mm would have been too much for me.

It is amazing how a simple change in a band can completely change the look of a set! So glad that your set feels complete! What a great feeling. Most people don't know how exhausting it is to search for the right setting/band.

Aww, I don't know about queen but thank you for the compliment! I believe I linked to my solitaire on page 1 of this thread, though mine pales in comparison to many that I see here. This thread illustrates the endless possibilities with solitaires of every size, shape, color, and metal -- so much beauty and diversity!

One day I aspire to having a very sleek bezel-set diamond like yours. My kids' pediatrician has an amazing bezel-set emerald cut diamond (around 1.5 carats I think) set in a 3mm matte platinum shank, with a matching 3mm matte platinum plain band. Her rings catch my eye every time I see her! Your set reminds me so much of hers. I heart it!
