I just read this thread from beginning and I see you stated right from the start that in the end you are planning to get BOTH settings! (One for diamond, other for gem) If hubby loves split shank- maybe he can pick out a nice new colored stone for ya!
The solitare is really elegant and my #1 choice. I can''t wait to see it!
I did not realize so many different "classic" named designs from Leon with different thinkness, etc.. Maybe we should start a contest to come up with better names other than "classic" and the next pS''er who goes to see Leaon can suggest what we come up with!!! you know- sort of what they do when there is a new baby panda at the Zoo!
