What is the largest stone someone has purchased for themselves/ FI/ or SO and posted on PS??

I am not starting a contest- I think all of the PS stones in all different sizes are gorgeous. For some reason I''m yearning to look at the ginormous ones and day-dream this morning... weird, huh?

Hey Everyone!! This is my kind of topic!! Some of you have seen my new yellow 5.97 radiant

, but I couldn''t resist showing you what I had- Its gone now, I traded it last week for the yellow

. But it was a 4.48 Marquise, G SI2 - It was HUGE!! I absolutely LOVE BIG DIAMONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the Cushion that was posted!

Wow...radianttiff....that marquise is something else!! It could double as some sort of weapon! (It's beautiful, but I think it was a good trade...I still can't get over your big yellow...)

I'd thought maybe mine would be a contender for the biggest asscher, but I see I've been outdone...mine's only 3.91cts

(Would counting the weight of the side stones be considered cheating??)

I hope it's ok if I post it here...I do love showing it off sometimes!

No...actually it''s my oldest...the center stone anyway...I inherited it! I''ve posted it before...but it''s never "starred" in a thread of its own.

Center stone: E, VS-1, 3.91cts. Purchased by my dad in the''60s for my mom, out of an estate (I think they said it was originally from the ''20s or ''30s.)

My mom wore it as a solitaire with teensy baguette sides, I remounted it about ten years ago with ECsides: 1.17ctw; F, VS-2 and E, VS-2
