Finally managed a Side View pic.....The setting is fairly low and I have not bumped it against anything yet. In fact, I''m wondering if I should have it set higher so it looks larger!

Look larger? I think it looks plenty large..and is set at the perfect height!

Larger...you want it to look larger...it's already the size of a boulder on your hand

It's gorgeous! Now get some more pics up if you know what's good for you LOL

ETA: ringabling~ I really love the six prong look of this ring. It really depends on the setting, more than the size of the diamond, IMO

I only have 4 prongs, but there''s metal encircling part of the pavilion. My jeweller checked my ring recently and said that I''m taking good care of it.

Harriett you ring is stunning!

Do you love the 4 prongs look?

Bling, that''s a beautiful beautiful ring!!

As for 4 vs 6 prongs, I''m going from 6 to 4. In fact, already have but am switching from the double prong to single 4 prong mount for my re-remount. My stone is 9.5mm but will be set about as low as it will go without scratching my finger with the stone''s culet

As for fear of bumping it or chipping it, well, the chance is always there. I do, like most of us, try to be aware of my ring and protect it but the 6 prongs tended to cover the stone too much even on a 3ct so I''m looking forward to being able to see the diamond, look thru it and all around it and enjoy it more this way.
