Hello everyone, I’m wondering if anybody here has heard of John Paradiso Jewelers? They are located in the Bowery section of NYC. I’ve heard he has very good quality diamonds but I’m wondering about his prices. I’ve read some good reviews, but just wondering if he caters to more expensive diamonds.

My fiancé does not wanna go to the city blind to look for a diamond. Can anyone recommend any good places. We wouldn’t mind buying online but I would like to see the stone in person before purchasing it.

I’m looking for a 1.5 carat G color VS2-SI1 excellent cut. Would like to stay under 11,000 for the diamond if possible.

Thanks

I follow them on IG and their rings look gorgeous. Beyond that I know nothing about their business and prices, but we can likely help you find a great diamond/ring.

Are you after a solitaire and does the budget include the setting or diamond alone?

That is for the dia

That is for the diamond alone. I’m thinking about getting a 3 stone ring and sapphires as my side stones.

IDJewelry is in nyc and recommended here. Call ahead with your desired specs so they can have some specifically available for you to view.

I second the IDJ recommendation even though they are in the city, but you can make an appointment with them for a stress free experience.

This one is a bit smaller than your preferred ctw, but it has great proportions: https://www.jamesallen.com/mobile/l...g-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-6260401

Yekutiel (IDJ) is likely to beat the JA price.

Here is a simple three stone with sapphires: https://idjewelry.com/18k-white-gol...s-engagement-ring-setting-er11806r4w8jsa.html

They can also source round ones for you, if that is what you prefer.

Or you can also purchase your own side stones, these are lovely: https://www.etsy.com/listing/639714...ga_search_query=Pair&ref=shop_items_search_41

Lastly, a fellow PSer is selling a beautiful 1.4 G VS1: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/feelers-for-1-4-g-vs1-ring.245595/ She might be willing to let go of the diamond alone, it is a beautiful stone at an attractive price point.
