Dear All,

I recently started to explore the diamond universe, and have to tell, I am quite fascinated. :) Found some nice jewelers / retailers in US (starting from beyond4c), now my favorite based on website functions is b2cjewels.com. They have aset, idealscope images and all other info necessary.
I would be interested in superbly cut stones, hearts and arrows or super-ideal ones.

I have a big problem though, I live in Hungary (part of European Union). I would need to pay very hefty VAT and duties on those US items, besides the whole process is unclear to me, potentially my 30 days return and other right would be in jeopardy as well.

Can you please recommend reputable jewelers from EU that sell online, and have diamond search functionality as sophisticated as the better US ones? (ASET, idealsope images, certificate view, search filters, etc)
I would be also interested in lab-grown diamonds as options, from the EU as well.

Any help is appreciated. If there is a similar forum more focused on EU people like these that would be also a start.

Thank you.

Try www.bluenile.com They have a location in Ireland within the EU and will ship to Hungary and charge you in local currency including all the taxes as well. And they provide a decent return policy. I have purchased from them and shipped to the UK and have also found the returns process to be hassle free because they handle all the taxes etc for you and if you need to make a return you receive all your funds back including the taxes.

Thank you for the tips!
I cant seem to find what exactly is Astor by Blue Nile cut... any ideas? Is it good enoough?
Are Gemex report reliable, and substituting ASET / idealscope images?

Any tips for man made diamonds? I quite like something this one:

Unfortunately we can't talk about man made diamonds here, but we can discuss them on the man made diamonds subforum. Astor by blue Nile is good, but it's not "the best" in terms of cut. If yes I want the best cut, I would stick with a cut above line from Whiteflash, crafted by infinity (from high performance diamonds), or signature/black/blue from Brian Gavin. They should all be able to work with international clients .

Fortrez is based in Antwerp, Belgium and sell Crafted by Infinity stones. You can see ASETs, etc on their inventory listing.
