Just had to post this thread, with an amazing and special thanks to the experts in the Colored Stones section, but especially @Rfisher , who found an LT preloved listing for this ring and saved me about 50% of the cost of a stone I was looking at, and got me a "free" platinum setting out of it. PS is amazing.
And, this sapphire is my mother's true ideal color (it really is this vivid, holy cow). This will be set into some sort of halo pendant in the future, as Mom is not a big ring person.
