The simplest answer is to ask JA give you the diamonds quality after taking the details from Benchmark
 
Benchmark just told me this is not one of their rings...
And now JamesAllen tells me it's from American Jewelry Design...
I just want to know the quality of the melee.
Still waiting, and today is the last day to obtain the discount.
 
What's the return policy? Maybe buy it yo take advantage of the sale and return if your are unhappy with the quality or get additional information about the melee you are unsatisfied with?
 
The final answer I received is they only know it's F-G VS.
No, I won't purchase and return it.

James PERSONALLY answered my e-mail and I received a honest answer to my questions.
So I still consider this ring.
I'm awaiting other quotes and will take a decision later today.
 
I have several JA stacking bands and have been super pleased with the quality. I don't know the source or specifics of the melee, but have compared the diamonds with similar bands from Blue Nile and Gabriel & Co., and the JA diamonds blow the others away.
 
While I can't comment specifically on JA melee I was in conversations with VC about theirs. It is super ideal cut; however, it was a color range and minimum clarity sort of deal. In my case it would have been F-G and VS2 minimum. No specs on actual proportions as they don't send off for certification due to the small size and their SARIN scanner cannot accurately measure it.

I was assured the arrows would be visible if I looked close enough (due to small size).
