Approx. 1200 for whitegold or yellow gold (or both) and approx. 1800 for all platinum (prices include setting any stone). Of course ask Jim for exact cost...

Jim left last week for a month long trip to Italy (he is coming up with new designs) so if he does not respond don't take it personally. He will be back around mid May.

I love the JM ring!

To help balance out my right hand, I ended up buying a 2mm platinum band for my pointer finger

I am so impressed by the detail and the overall balance of the ring!

I absolutely adore this ring. It looks so great on your finger! My size is 5.75 and budget will probably allow for ~1.25 carats so this makes me so glad to see how great a 1.19 looks on you in this setting! Congrats!

Thanks! I was kind of worried about the daintiness of the ring at first but I absolutely adore it now! People are always asking about where I purchased the ring and love Jim's unique style. The ring showcases the diamond perfectly and I am now saving up for another JM ring

How wide is the band? You said your e-ring is 3mm...in the side by side that leads me to believe that the JM is ~1mm.

What are you plans for the next JM ring?

Looks like my ering band tapers slightly and is about 3.25mm at the top and around 3.0 on the bottom.

My JM ring is about 1.6mm or 1/16th of an inch.

Thanks! That''s what I was hoping, sub 2mm, I''d love the end look to be at 3ish mm with e-ring and w-band. I did email Jim, but he was out of the country at the time, so someone emailed me on his behalf to let me know that he''d get back to me upon his return, which should be soon. FF and I don''t have any immediate plans, just trying to get an idea. You and coati have inspired me to want this setting! Now it''s just to convince BF...he kinda had his heart set on 6 prongs, but I''m not as convinced.

I hope you get the colored stone! I have an emerald ring now and I love the green. I could totally love an emerald in the 1345 in platinum or unplated WG with a YG bezel and side wraps...
