My James Avery catalogue came today and I couldn''t help but notice the hammered gold pieces! Of course they are all 14K, not 22K or 24K, but they still reminded me of Gurhan Orhan and Yossi Harari! Did anyone else start using hammered gold at the time that these men did? Am I missing anyone else who inspired goldsmiths to do such primitive work? (Perhaps this topic deserves its own thread!)

I have the hammered link bangle in sterling silver from a few years ago. I dont know when Orhan and Harari started though....I do like the bangles, they just feel feminine when they are on.
