Now it works! I dunno what I did .. or what you did ... but the MAC has landed.

Very cool! (Didn''t think of the Rocky Talky ... but that''s funny if that''s why you did it on the Central Park rocks!!)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I thought that was pretty funny after Garry pointed out the "Rocky talky" tie.

garry, you aussies don''t do bad on the accent meter either!

in an effort to provide equal opportunity, perhaps Mrs L can do part of an interview?

movie zombie

MZ, what''s equal opportunity?

Mrs L

Mrs L, given i thought Mr L''s accent was sexy, i thought perhaps male pricescopers would like the same opportunity to hear your accent!

movie zombie

Ooo, that! I thought it''s being able to do the same job for less pay

well, there is that, too! but i''m sure Mr L wouldn''t do that to Mrs L?!

Great idea.

Allen''s sales will skyrock!

I''m sure John Pollard and Rhino are getting their haircuts (well, Rhino anyway ;) ) waiting for the Lights, Camera Action!

Is it just me or does it seem that every user here works for JamesAllen "Jim".

I felt that the interview was very poor and lacked real content and information for users. This was supposed to be informative wasn''t it?
or was it mainly targeted at DCD groupies?

Rocky there is a price to be paid for selling out too soon. When your promoters become your motor it''s not long before your users see through it.

I''m sure I''m going to get the usual rally of JA/DCD fan club attacks now. Here we go!

Don''t get me wrong I applaud the work that Jim has done and love his site. JA that is. What I''m talking about is keeping this site clean and continuing to do the work it started out to do. "To provide quality information to buyers". Not to steer them towards the people who bid the highest to target the users that trust pricescope.

Oh well guess I''ll get banned again for speaking my mind
35.gif
but it sure looked like a blatant promo video to me.

Normally Id say don''t feed the trolls and a returning banned one at that but in this case I''m going too.

I enjoyed the interview as well as the one with Mark.
I think it did a good job of showing the real person behind the website.
In my communications with Jim he stuck me as a down to earth person who cares about his customers.
That comes thru in the interview very well.

I got a laugh over his reaction to the question about pricescope customers. LOL
We are a demanding bunch and it is a pressure cooker atmosphere for a vendor.
Vendors who can survive and thrive in it are rare, Jim has what it takes his answer shows that.

I enjoyed the interviews and would love to see more of them.
I''m waiting for the Brian Gavin interview Id pay to see that one!!
There are a bunch of others Id like to see also, Jon, John, Wink, Gary aka diamondexpert, Richard Sherwood, Rockdoc, Dave Atlas, Garry H., and many more :}
I hope the opportunity will present itself for those interviews to happen and that trolls wont wreck it for the rest of us.

Nice to hear fresh and healthy criticism from an ex-member

For the record: neither Jim Schultz nor Mark Turnowski paid a dime for shooting the videos or to cover expenses involved traveling, accommodation, equipment, post production and renting an additional dedicated streaming server...

Jim only arranged shipping and setting of three diamonds used in survey.

All the costs were paid by Pricescope to see whether this kind thing could be interesting so the visitors would be able to see people who participate in this site...

We did not claim it is a professional journalism - just fulling' around as usual

well said. i agree.

Hey, I walk past that spot in the park all the time! One of those passersby could have been me! I wish it had been. I wonder whether I would have picked out the steep-deep diamond.

I enjoyed those videos very much and would like to see more as well. I enjoyed seeing everybody''s face and hearing their voices.

I thought the survey was fun, but it could have been more scientific. Jim didn''t always give the same info to the people looking at the rings.

And most of all--tell us the answer! Was Ring #2 the steep-deep diamond? The video leaves it up in the air.
