Hi,
Thanks to everyone on here. What a great community and resource for those of us who aren't nearly as knowledgeable!
I'm planning on proposing in the next couple of months and am looking at a loose radiant cut diamond for the ring. I know it's a radiant, and preferably more elongated / rectangular radiant, that my partner has her heart set on. Unfortunately, I feel like that makes it harder for me to assess the quality of cut as GIA certificates only provide a cut grading for round brilliant diamonds. I know how critical cut is and so I'm really hoping the PriceScope community may be able to help!
Is what I've included with my post enough for you to be able to offer a view on the quality of cut? If it is, how would you rate the quality of cut? Is 'G' sufficient for the color or should I consider going up to 'F' given the carat size (if that's even relevant)?
Thank you so much to anyone who can lend their expertise as I'm feeling a bit out of my depth!
Mike
