Is this a potentially really nice AGS0 FIC?

I just purchased this for an e-ring for my girlfriend and think I stumbled on a potential fireball. The one ASET I have seems to show pretty decent arrows, too.

It will be going in a six-prong, platinum knife edge setting.

Any thoughts and input from those who know? I can't wait to get it.

Thanks!

looks great.

Thanks, Julie!

Anyone else? I thought the experts on here would be all over scrutinizing an FIC.

I am a fan of FIC... :appl:

Bumping this since I see more of the cut experts floating around and responding today.

Anyone? Anyone?

Do you have an actual aset or IS image instead of the computer generated aset from the report?

I don't, actually. Just the AGSL report.

I received the diamond about a week ago and am very, very happy with it, as is my new fiancé. I guess that's the biggest thing that matters.

It's very white for a H (even from side view) and it sparkles like a mad fireball. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Maybe that will help.

I've just done some reading/researching about FIC and was curious what the seasoned pros have to say. This stone seems to ride on the lower end of FIC specs and is more "balanced"/not so extreme. I knew it was a good stone, but sort of stumbled on the whole FIC thing and am looking for more insight. They seem to be a rarer cut - especially if done well. I was just wondering if I got lucky and found a good one.

ok,
I don't see anything to indicate it isn't an awesome fic.
That is as far as I can go with the data presented.

Bottom line it passes the most important test, your eyes, your environment over a period of time.
Enjoy it :}

Not the best pics yet (iPhone), but here's what it looks like:

In the right light, the arrows are very visible, clear and nicely contrasted.

Thanks, Karl. I appreciate the feedback.

I know BN isn't a favorite around here, but once in a while you can find the needle in the haystack.
It was one of the only AGS-papered stones I found.
99% is all GIA.
