Hi again, so I found this stone on Engagement Rings Direct and they just sent me the images, which I think are ASET and ideal scope. I need some input and guidance on understanding what I am seeing and if this is a great stone? I also attached cert and the stone is approx 7500.

Its a 1.11 CT, GIA Ex Ex Ex with G color, Si1 clarity, no florescence, and HCA of 1.8 (X, VG, VG, VG).

Its main clarity characteristics are all in one central area which worries me. The vendor has this in hand and said its eyeclean and brilliant.

Wow, hardly looks like the same diamond in the ASET and the pictures.

I did noticed that by your posts, you have/are working with several PS vendors now. Have you looked at settings from any of the vendors that you have worked with so far? anyone that you particularly like over the other as that might help you narrow your diamond search to one vendor that can handle both your diamond and ring combo.

Thanks, Yes I have been doing a lot of searching and have contacted Whiteflash, EngagementRingsDirect, b2c and SolomonBros. I like Whiteflash service the best. I am only looking for loose stone as I already have ring/band setting chosen and its fairly unique so I dont want to have a custom one made to look like it. I am probably too picky but its a big purchase that means alot to me and I want to make the right choice. I also have a few options on Bluenile but havent contacted them yet.

One poster above said its looks like actual image and ASET dont seem to look like same stone? Is the ASET look bad? Could it be two different stones?

Thanks!

I just meant I expected more inclusions from the ASET. There's this thing at the perimeter of the table at 9 o'clock that isn't anywhere else. But photography is a funny thing.

So from the pics and everything else would you recommend this stone? Does the plot show good light return? Can this help tell it will be brilliant and shiny? Thank you and sorry if my questions are ignorant.

part of the prosumer guidelines, stickied to the top of Rocky Talky, is that we don't recommend stones, only suggest.

My suggestion is to pick a vendor, usually one that is able to execute the setting you want. And then go with a stone that they recommend. Doesn't look like this stone has any glaring problems.
