This belongs to a PSer but I didn''t save the name- I hope they don''t mind me posting. it is one of my favorite rings though and I would love to have this made but with a yellow sapphire.


if you need more pictures I would check out Diamonds By Lauren. He has excellent eye candy with colored diamonds.

Hi Dori- thanks for your response. That is good to know. I can''t imagine ever regretting such a beautiful stone, but I do worry a little about venturing away from white stones.

I am retetting the pear wirth 2 side trillions of about .70-.75CT each. i know it''s kinda "Passe" but since i will not be doing any more re-setting after this one, i wanted something "classic".

I am in the middle of doing final touches on the CAD with Michael E. I think in about 2 months or so, she - "Lemony", should be right into her new home

These are beautiful! especially yours CATMOM, but I can''t decide if the platinum/white gold is as nice as the yellow. I think maybe the yellow gold complements the stone that much more...but then i don''t really like to wear yellow gold. Either way the colour of the diamond is stunning.

Thank you mekj!! My setting is actually both YG and WG. The stone sits in YG with YG prongs and the rest of the ring is WG. The best of both worlds, lol.

I would echo the suggestion of Diamonds by Lauren for Fancy colored diamonds, David is great to work with!

This is my FLY 1.89ct radiant with 1.14ctw baguettes, set in Platinum and 18kt YG.

this is the ring that got me into this mess! I only had my phone with me, but it has a row of yellow and then a row of white around it. Not sure which style I like btter.


Amethyste- that style doesn''t sound passe at all, very classic. With a stone like that you can''t really go wrong!

David was very helpful, he really educated me on what is important when looking at yellow diamonds. I had never bought a diamond over the internet, now I,m on my third one. I might have to go to jewlery''s anonymous soon.
