Is an ascher cut only for diamonds?

Me too!

The only problem with Asschers is finding a great setting that sits high enough off your finger. I love your ring LTP and also Mochi''s chrysoberyl. Very sophisticated with lovely clean lines.

Yes they usually are a deeper cut. I don''t have any aschers yet so I don''t know if you could go with a premade setting from Stuller or if you''d have to go custom.

Me, too! My asscher gemstone collection is growing by the minute...

I''m working with Whiteflash to have my minty peridot asscher set in a green gold setting like Lauren''s AWESOME ER.

Asschers are the deepest cut of any gemstone and diamond. Mine is set in an off the shelf setting - but due to the belly, it had to sit up a little higher than usual.
