! He drove me home early that morning and I was nervous about whether a relationship would come out of this confusion but my worries were laid to rest when he took my hand and held it the whole drive home.

Hello, all. I too have been lurking here for probably around three months. There is so much great information and knowledgable folks here that it seemed silly not to make my stay official.

How you met: We met over the internet, actually--I''d signed up on a webboard because an Australian friend of mine was on it and it was a great way to keep in contact with him, and I chatted with some folks from the board now and then over AIM. Well, he caught my attention with his sense of humour and we started chatting 10 or 12 hours a day (before work, after work, until the wee hours of the morning). We talked online for a year and a half before meeting in person, but when we did, it was like we''d known each other in real life for ages. Since then, we''ve bounced back and forth across the Atlantic to visit each other (blarg, the times inbetween reeeeeeeeally suck!), but that will all stop when I go over there for school. Yay!!

Expected Engagement Date: I''m thinking we''ll probably get engaged within a year from now. He''s asked unofficially a few times, but I''m trying to keep my head on my shoulders with it and want to live in the same country first. Ideally I''d like us to live together first, but then we''d have to wait longer than a year, and I''m not sure that''ll happen. We''ll see; I''m not in a big rush.

Our second date was quite funny and involved a runaway horse. I can share the story if anyone is interested...but our running joke (no pun intended!

) is that he almost had to log back into Eharmony to find another girlfriend!

Expected engagement date: We got engaged on May 15, 2005...he proposed to me in my apartment with all my pets surrounding us- we did separate for a while as a result of a terrible miscommunication, but we loved each so much, we ended up working through the miscommunication. We got back together and went away for a romantic weekend to wine country in the Santa Ynez valley. It was there that he reproposed last November. His raw display of emotion during his proposal was one of the sweetest experiences I have ever had in my life until he got choked up saying his vows to me on our wedding day! Gosh I love my honey!

He had joked when we first started writing that he was search for the yin to his yang....well I would like to think he found it!! Thank you so much Isyama! You have a great eye...yes, it is the Palos Verdes area. We got married at the Neighborhood Church. I really wanted to get some shots overlooking the water so we decided to see each other before the wedding as we knew the daylight would be almost gone by the end of our service. It''s such a gorgeous church...you should check it out if you haven''t already (http://www.neighborhoodchurchpve.org/). Fascinating history and many picture perfect places to get great shots! Thanks for being so nice!
