I can't even count how many ring settings I rejected when I was resetting my ring because they looked gorgeous from the top but then the profile was awful, bad proportions, bad design, etc. Amazing how many jewelers and designers don't pay attention to this.

I wish my phone took better pictures. I inherited my Great Great Aunt's ring. It is a Tiffany & Co. ring from the 1930's. The hearts merge into crosses.

This ring was my mom's. She died in 1979, so I'm guessing its at least 60 years old. A jeweler told me the stone is glass. Considering the size, that's not surprising, I just wish it wasn't scratched across the table. I really need to get that sizing gizmo off, so I can wear it, anyway.
