I spoke with a friend today and he is looking for an engagement ring. Of course, having so much fun shopping for mine of offered to help!!
He understands cut is everything. So, we're looking for only top performers.

Scope
Budget: 5,000.00-5,500.00 for ring and diamond

Carat: 0.8-1.05 (bigger if in the budget)
Clarity: Nothing under Eye Clean SI-1
Color: F but would consider G
Cut: H&A or Top Notch Performer
Flor: None

Setting
White Gold 4 Prong Solitaire setting but something that doesn't sit too high
