I'm getting a puppy - need advise

She is darling! Was she frightened? How did you and she interact? How does she feel about shoes?

Not frightened at all. I felt quite sad taking her away from her pack. She is adjusting quite well, little sleep for me and she's full of energy but takes a bunch of naps. She's not chewing on shoes and when the attempts to chew on something she shouldn't, I redirect her to what she is supposed to chew on. She doesn't like her doggy play pen however, she must get used to it as I need a little freedom. Quincy doesn't play with her, he just gives her kisses. He's wondering where she came from!

Ok. It’s been a long day. 1.5 hours to pick up Maggie and 1.5 back home. Socialized her with my friends two gong.* Then home and lots of playing. She’s been sleeping for hours.

*I was very tired when I wrote this. Meant *dogs!

@Queenie60 how is it going?

It's going fine! She is very well acclimated to her new life! So much attention and my daughter came home for the week to help me while I adjust. No potty accidents, she actually goes to the door when she needs to go. That took all but one day. She is eating well, playing hard, and a huge cuttle bug. Just a perfect pup and she is very much loved. Soooo cute!

I love the photo of Quincy and Maggie May together in what (I assume) is his bed. How did she get in there? Did she clinb in herself or did you just put her in for a photo? How did Quincy take it? I know you purposely got her her own bed so that Quincy would not have to share. Has he decided where she came from? Do you have any stories about how they are getting along? We have been waiting for this moment, Queenie!

She’s rambunctious and it’s constant! Very smart, been working on basic commands. Quincy is doing fine, at times I need to distract her when she goes after him for rough play
