Hi everyone, I'll be uploading tons of pictures to this thread, enjoy!
This is a Harry Winston inspired cushion halo ring by Leon Mege. The center stone was sourced by Perry:
1.65 ct
E/F color (GIA said F, two independent appraisers graded it E)
VS2 clarity
Old Mine Brilliant
7.41 x 6.90 x 4.39 mm
Polish Excellent
Symmetry Very Good
Table 50%
Depth 63.6%
Large culet
Girdle- thick to thin
No flourescence
Finger size 8 3/4
I will take measurements of the shank, halo, and height when I can. All I know is that when I met with Leon, we agreed the shank would be 1.6-1.7 mm, and the halo would be proportionate to that, he didn't give me an exact measurement. I asked him to set the diamond higher than he recommends, I asked him to shoot for 6.39-6.5mm from the table to finger. Since I haven't measured it, I can't tell if he actually stuck by those measurements.
He used 64 melee stones, total weight .86 ct.
And now the pictures!
