I just finished customizing my SO's three stone Ritani engagement ring and have placed the order. The diamond supposedly arrived at Ritani yesterday and it should take 2-3 weeks (according to Ritani). It's been a long process and I've had lots of questions along the way, but I've gotten some amazing help from PS, GOG, Pearlman's, and Ritani. I can't say enough about Ritani's customer service. I worked with one rep from beginning to end and she answered all of my questions promptly and with pleasure. She relayed my wishes and ideas to the designer and sent me CAD after CAD until everything was perfect. At one point, I had decided to to with the original gallery because I didn't want to push the order back too far and miss my deadline. Marina (CS rep) responded by saying that she wouldn't want me to settle for anything less than perfection and promised that they would have the ring done before I want to propose. She also responded with a new CAD the next day! I'm very excited to see the final product and I'm already becoming impatient, lol. Here are the final CADs:











The center is a 0.81 ct (~6mm), I color (very white), SI1 (completely eye clean), GIA triple ex. The halo is very delicate with 0.5 pointers, I believe. The pave on the sides are 1 pointers. Setting ct wt is 0.59 for a tcw of 1.4.

As for me I am finally setting my last loose stone. My 5ct EC touramline from Jeff White is going to Singlestone. I had planned on kinda of keeping this out of the limelight but didn't end up going custom but went with a setting they already had which worked really well with my EC.

I can understand that. Initially I was unsure about the spread, as we were initially shooting for a 2.5-3 ctw band but happened upon this awesome suite. But Grace said after looking at the diamonds on her hand(she is a size 6.5-7, I believe) and the setting style, that it wouldn't be an issue. Hopefully this band will cure my blingy desires for a few years until I get a new solitaire.

SB: It's going to have 17 x 15pt bezels, so 2.55 ctw, with a slightly thicker platinum chain. BTW, what is the length/pt size on yours if I may ask?
