My mom gave me this ring she picked up at a thrift store that I never gave a second thought to. I just noticed it's stamped 10k gold which leads me to wonder how do I identify the stone? I'm guessing it is pink topaz or quartz, Or maybe just a pink hunk of glass? Thanks!
Probably lead glass and very pretty. These large vintage rings were often set in 10k gold with lead glass colored stones. I think they are charming and I have one from my husband's grandmother that is probably over 60 years old.
