Longtime lurker here. I was wondering if someone could offer insight on this idealscope and hearts image. The diamond is VS2 clarity and the AGS report shows clouds only in the center of the diamond. The idealscope shows marks on the right between 3-4 o'clock which are not mentioned in the GAS report. The hearts image shows black spots all over. I've searched for answers and haven't found any.

First, the cloud in the center is hardly noticeable in the pictures (which are blown up BTW)....The hearts image shows a reflection of a crystal (possibly the one in the picture), being reflected and sometimes if held at the right angle, it makes a circle (the reflection, I mean). So really, no need to worry about this stone. WF deemed it "eye clean", and it's VS2, so no worries (no to mention, it's a smaller stone, on a 2 or 3ct stone, you may have an issue).

They are all additional refractions of the same single cloudish inclusion.
The ideal-scope and alll such images should not be used for clarity grading - they can play real tricks.
And cgood cutters always reduce clarity effects from the top and that makes them often appear much worse from below.

But just to be safe, you could ask WF how eye-clean is it from the side, or at an angle, or upside down. Clarity is graded face-up, so it's VS2 face-up. Some people don't want to see any inclusions from the side or from the bottom, either. [*]

Wow. Thank You all for the responses. I feel much better about this purchase.
