Huen at F.E Plaza has great stuff indeed. So far I only browse its windows, never step foot into the store yet!

I don’t wear jadeite bangle but if I do, it will surely be a princess 圆镯, I find it more 秀气.
Wishing you luck @icy_jade

I always admire the display cos so many beautiful items.

Thanks and need the luck! Been looking for a few years!

Given you size of 58-60mm, shouldn’t be difficult ......but ikr, sometimes everything is right except for PRICE :saint::saint::saint:
It will definitely be more difficult for me - 52mm

Had some time this morning and was quite happily playing with my rings collection 8)

Posted the pics in one of my fav Ps thread (LINK) and adding them here as well.

Anyone else gets a thrill from storing their rings in a rainbow/ombré display of colors?

You have the most amazing collection. Thank you for sharing it!

The top right white one would have to be my fave of your whole collection. It is such a beauty! Would you mind telling me more about it? What sort of stone is it?! I love that halo, it is so special :kiss2:

Thanks @emeraldhummingbird ! It’s an icy jadeite that has a bit of glow. This post has a bit more info:

Icy jadeite ring from Kathy Jade coming in just nicely under the mark thanks to their anniversary sale :)

Love it cos it’s such a simple and wearable design

In the shade and a few in sunlight cos wanted to show the “ying guang” (what’s the English translation for that?)

Oh actually I’ve seen a lot of smaller sized bangles like 50-53 mm going at super good prices. So many blues/purples/nice icy bangles at that size that I’ve lost count. If u ever change your mind about wearing bangles lemme know haha

Here r past examples, HKD10-14k:

Thanks for keeping me in mind @icy_jade ;)2
I actually came across many bangles that I like between 56-60mm.
The small ones that fitted my wrist were normally of oval shape 贵妃 :???:

:kiss2::kiss2: would you call it reddish orange, medium light tone, with very intense/vivid saturation? Do you see yellow occasionally? Even the last profile shot show the same tone/saturation to me. Very consistent, right?

I've heard vendors using the term "burnt orange" to describe some spessartite. I don't think yours is it because there isn't any brown undertone.

Those are marquise diamonds, I like!

You should rock that baby more often!

Haha it’s one of my smaller rings so honestly I don’t wear as often. It’s not burnt orange. I think reddish orange? No yellow and not pure orange either. Umm am not sure how to describe the tone and saturation. If the stone color looks different it’s mostly because the iPhone doesn’t capture the color accurately. You can see how my skin looks different in all the pics ya? I mean, really never tan or lose my tan that much haha.

Wow!! Is this pricing only available in person, or are there some online venues you could recommend I browse through?

Such a delicious color. These look like the closest in gemeprice, vivid medium orange, vivid light medium orange, or vivid orangy red.

Ok DEAL @icy_jade ;)2

52 should fit my left wrist but I am looking at wearing one on my right instead, probably 53-54 which can slide in & out easily? I like icy colorless most, followed by lavender/pinkish & blue. Must be 圆形的圆镯 :mrgreen2:

Ok understood. I’m 58-60, also must be round round type. I like icy, blue and bluish purple. Only icy glutinous or icy unless it’s purple then maybe furong type is fine.

How did you do that? 8)
Need to seriously think about losing weight too...

Diet only. Exercise makes me super hungry. Lost a little less than half with keto, and then brought carbs back and switched to very lose intermittent fasting (no hard and fast schedule.) I don't do well with hunger, so I needed to convince my body it's supposed to weigh less.

I get it. My ageing eyes need to see something of a certain size to be able to enjoy it. Your ring is still very eye-catching, nonetheless.

@Polyhex, thanks for the info...vivid orangy red :kiss2:

@icy_jade, thanks for the link, the water & color are truly good, I would be really tempted if it was rounded instead of D.

@Burmesedaze, I came across bangles that ticked all the boxes in bigger sizes most of the time :???:

I have never worn any jade bangle in my 50 years of life before, will that be risky to spend a few thousand $$ & what if I break it? I know people saying “jadeite isn’t hard but tough”

Then get a cheap one and try. Like a few hundred type but type A cos the treated ones are not as hardy.

Cos you may not like wearing one. It does take a few days to get used to it.

Also, personally I cannot wear a bangle that’s too expensive knowing I may break it. I draw the line at 10k or so. But honestly I don’t do a lot of activities or housework and have a desk job so unless I trip and fall not much risk I think.

If you see big ones lemme know. For me is the opposite I always see nice small ones.
