Can I have your help, oh wonderful PSers?

Trying to pick a wedding band. We have it narrowed down to a .5 carat band from ice.com http://www.ice.com/customer/product_detail.jsp?product=147550434

and a .10 carat band from Marlene Harris http://www.marleneharriscol.com/categories/AntiqueStyleWeddingBands/WB745.html

We''re leaning towards ice.com, but want to make sure it''s a quality ring since I''ll be wearing it even more than my engagement ring. Should I be worried about losing a diamond from an ice.com band? Lower quality?

Or should we go with the better quality Marlene Harris ring with less bling?

We appreciate your help!

The one from ice.com is beautiful! I can''t speak of their quality though. Maybe someone else has had experience with their stuff.

Hi misy!

I don''t yet know about the quality of ice.com, but it is where I plan to buy a matching set of green amethyst jewelry for my wedding. I also have several 20% off coupon codes if you need one, and if you can wait a few days, you can get free first class shipping.

They also have a fantastic return policy, so I would get it and see what you think...just a thought!

Hey Harleigh,

I LOVE coupon codes! Hook me up, girl!!

I''m just not sure that I know enough about jewelry to be able to look at the ring when it comes in and know if it''s quality or not. I don''t know how it happens, but I''m actually pretty rough on jewelry, and eternity-type bands make me NERVOUS!!

misysu, what about buying the blingier one, as well as a thin, plain band. That way, you have the bling but you could use the plain one in your ceremony, so if the blingy one turns out not to last long you will still have your original "wedding ring". I am sentimental, so I know I would want to keep that band forever. Just my .02! I do love that ice.com one, and I think it would look great with your ering!

DITTO to mischka...

I really like my aqua ring that I got for Christmas from my boyfriend from ice.com--I wear it everyday and it''s fine so far, but it''s not like a couple of months is going to be very telling in regards to you long-term longevity worries. I think miscka''s idea of having both types of bands but doing your vows with the plain one is a great idea!

Hi Misysu,
I know its a different sytle than what you have posted, but just thought I''d put a pic of the Daniel K diamond wedders that are in the Closeout (sale) section at pearlmans- if I was in the market for a WR, I''d get one of these in a second! V. good quality and great price.

Otherwise, I saw a thread the other day about single stone rings that are similiar to the style you posted - I don''t wanna confuse u more, but thought if you could search for that thread there may be some good info on that style.

Oh, and for the record - I vote fot the 2nd one - more classy I feel, and that''s just my personal taste for a WR.

I really love the style of the ring on the ice.com website but I question whether I1/I2 clarity stones is what you really want.

I saw that ring in some jeweler''s case not too long ago with milgrained edges which really made it absolutely perfect! Maybe someone else saw that ring somewhere too. The stones were lovely.

I had my 1st e-ring that i was going to get from Marline harris. I thought it was beautiful. She was very difficult to work with and wasn''t very pleasant on the phone. She told me she would call me back w/a price b4 she charged my credit card for the amount bc she said the price of gold went up (in fact that''s all she talked about!). So she ended up calling me back AFTER she charged my credit card 150.00 MORE than what the orgianal price was. When I told her I had to ask my FI because I had a budget she freaked out and told me I had to call her back asap because it was a special order item. My thought was she shouldn''t have ordered it until she confired with me that the higher price was okay. So I called my FI and spoke with him and called her back the next day and wanted to cancle the order that she had placed because I wanted a different setting (she thought I wanted a different one from HER site). She said that wouldn''t be a problem and asked which one I wanted instead...when i told her I wanted to go w/another vender she said she couldn''t cancle it. My FI over heard and got on the phone really really upset and told her he''d cancle the credi card payment if she didnt cancle it. Long story short she cancled it and said that we did "the wrong thing" and said we were bad customers. I''d avoid her if possible!
