I went to the GIA today - P

Not the one in NY, the one in Carlsbad California.
They graciously allowed me to set up a tripod and take lots of pics of what colored gems they had on display.
The display changes often.

I took pics of 28 gems, and a separate pic of each descriptive card.
So there will be 56 pics posted.

Hope you don't mind all these pics but if you enjoy these one tenth as much as I enjoyed it live it will be worth it.

These were all taken through glass cases so excuse the reflections.
They refused to open the cases for me.

This baby was magnificent.

This was about 10 inches high.

Okay this was the best piece in the house.
It blinded you from across the room.
There are so many diamonds that even a slight movement of your head caused about 5000 flashes of intense saturated example of every color in the rainbow to move slightly and change into 5000 other colors.

It was absolutely breathtaking.
I just stood there gawking for a long time.
I have only seen things like this on TV at the red carpet of the Oscars.

You MUST see something like this in person.
