Has anyone ever made their own solitaire setting?

I found this video to be endlessly fascinating. I'm good with my hands and brass is soft, but he makes it look so easy... Hat's off to Pablo Cimadevila

what a fun video, no surprise it went viral and he makes it look so easy! the cameo by the dog though!

there was a guy who came on here for advice about making a ring for his fiancee-to-be and he did it! (despite everyone telling him not to) ....he 3D printed it & set the stone himself!
