I think the diamond is sinking into my halo.

I was ogling my ring today and I noticed that the stone has a leaning tower of pisa thing going on. It appears to be sinking/is uneven on one side.

I'm having a hard time imagining that the ring can be fixed without totally wrecking it. What would they do, go in from the bottom to fix it?

can anyone see what I mean?

Do you have a bigger picture? The original should be fairly large so if you can crop it (and throw out most of the background), the details will show up better. Given that the stone is bezeled, is the bezel leaning or is it the halo?

Could you post more pics? I cannot see it in this pic but hopefully someone with sharp eyes chimes in

is this better?

Treysar, I can't tell if the stone is leaning nor am I sure how it can be fixed if it IS leaning, but I had to remove my center stone recently from its bezel. This is how my jeweler did it: they cut off the bezel much like the newer can-openers that cut the can from the "side." When they put the stone back in, they built the bezel back up first. I don't think my bezel looks as smooth and even as it did originally but it's very close to it. Just food for thought if they have to fix it that way.

Your jeweler can check the stone(s) to see if they're loose. Do they offer free inspections?

I am sorry but I can't see it either. The picture is just too small. I agree with Urstx that bezels are never an easy fix. The bezel has to be removed and rebuilt if you have any issues.

I can't make it out either.

I tried to make the pic bigger but it didn't really help..I made the pic bigger on my screen, and I *think* in the first pic the diamond is sinking a bit on the left side? I can't see it in the second pic.

I've never had a bezel set ring so can't help you there...UrsTx supplied some good info. And I know people have had work done on their bezel rings, so hopefully some will chime in!

Thanks everyone. I will try to take a close up tomorrow in the sunlight.
