Hi All!

I posted recently about which WF diamond to buy for my upgrade, https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/advice-on-these-two-wf-diamonds.219055/... I am so thankful for all of your advice, and now I'm back for a little more guidance.

I did purchased a diamond, and it is sitting at WF while I eagerly wait for the quote for my setting. The one that I bought is 1.345ct I VS2, http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3260750.htm.. I've been obsessively looking at the diamond images almost daily while I wait to get my ring, and I noticed that the ASET image has a little more green then some of the other ASET images that I've seen.

When I noticed the little bit of extra green, I looked around some more and found this diamond, 1.324ct I VS2, http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3608301.htm.. The ASET has less green, and it actually has a slightly larger diameter even though the carat weight is less because it is less deep (61.1%).

How do you think these two diamonds compare? Do you think that the little bit of extra green on the 1.346ct diamond that I've purchased will negatively impact it's visual performance? I read that green still means light return, but that red is preferable. Is the depth of 61.1% on the 1.324ct better or worse than the depth of 61.9% of my 1.345? The 1.324 is a couple of hundred dollars more than the one that I bought and above my original budget of $9000 - would it even be worth it to get this one instead? Should I just step away from the WF website and stop obsessing about these small details because there won't be any noticeable difference between the two?! Advice or opinions would be much appreciated!

I'm admittedly tentative to reply, as I am far, far out of my depth vis a vis diamonds, but why not compare the IdealScope images? The first diamond you selected appears to show a lot more leakage from the table than the second pick. Most IdealScope images of TIC ideal cuts I've seen look more like the image from the second diamond.

Don't worry about it. It's an ACA and that is why you bought it, top light performance. It's going to be stunning. Just do something to distract yourself until it gets delivered. Looking forward to pics.

They are both absolutely fine, and even if you saw them side by side you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

You can switch stones if you want to. But your original stone is great.

And no, there is no leakage on that IS.

Thank you for your responses! I was hoping that I was overthinking. Since I'm spending so much money on this, I just wanted to make sure that I was getting the best that I could. Thanks for calming my nerves :)

About the idealscope images, I did notice the lighter patches, but I couldn't tell if it was leakage or not... since it's an ACA, I was hoping that it wasn't.
