We ordered a new screen door!
FI was in charge of measuring it. He measured it 1.5 inches too short width wise, and 4 inches too short height wise... (he didn''t write down the measurements, and thought he ''remembered'' what it was)

So, we have to order a new one!! And the old one is not returnable.

My $150 screen door is going to cost me $550+.

Yay for a new screen door! I love a good screen door. Sorry it''s costing you more than it should. DH got me a storm door for our first anniversary. Sounds lame, I know, but it was the exact one I really, really wanted and he had it installed while I was out of town. I love that door.

Note to self: do not watch The Notebook while home alone. You might think it''s better if nobody is around to see you cry, but really it''s a whole lot worse.

I want M to come home.

(The really sad part is that he''s on his way as I''m typing this.)




Also, I get really happy when the Nivea commercial for the tanning lotion comes on because the song is from my favourite band. Having that commercial on while I''m watching The Notebook is a really weird emotional rollercoaster.

DH has a client who has a problem with QVC. She''s always trying to pass stuff onto him because she buys too much and then doesn''t want to bother with returning it. (And she buys MULTIPLES of things. Yes! Two or more items of thingsyouneverknewyou''llneverneed.)

The day he came home with three ShamWOWs! was when I knew she really had it bad.

I'm so excited! DH has a new client who is a laser hair removal person (technician? specialist?) and they're BARTERING! I went in to see her today and had my underarms done FOR FREE! (As well as some touchups on my, ahem, upper lip and other unsightly areas for hair.) How cool is that?

When he came home a couple weeks ago and told me she was a new client my response was BARTER! BARTER! BARTER! If he sees her long enough I could never have to shave again.
