I have an interview tomorrow or monday, they are going to let me know
But I found out it is a company that has lots of missionaries and they have so much web traffic because of the earthquake in haiti and that is why they need an extra person to help out. Boy I really hope I get it Plus they are a client of the company I currently work at so they know all of my bosses (which would end up being a good thing) Things are looking up!

I just found out the company I''m interviewing at is a non profit Christian based organization that helps missionaries around the world. I really hope I get it because it would be a job I would feel so good to be apart of

It's FRIDAY!!!

I drove into downtown for work today and when I went to pay at my lot, the machine only charged me the "Early Bird Rate" which was $2 cheaper than my regular, for the time I arrived!! Then when I bent over to get my ticket out of the machine, I saw a shiny copper penny on the ground!!

FYI- There was a stalled car in the HOV lane on the way into town... the woman was driving alone.

Not so lucky day for her. Karma.

Had my interview today, thought I answered all the questions well but for a couple of interviewers they sure weren''t very talkitive...it was ...strange

also got my coffee this morning and it was given to someone else, 3 minutes later they came back and were like this isnt mine and i was like oh i think its mine. she said she didnt drink out of it but im still not so sure, i asked for a new one instead

I feel extravagant. I spent $17.50 on Girl Scout cookies and $10 on lipgloss. I went shopping yesterday for fun clothes instead of going to the gym. Heck - BF and I have joined a gym. All of these are things that I never would have dreamed of doing this time last year. And I''ll STILL be able to put away a couple of hundred into savings this paycheck. Life is good.

I am having such a hard time concentrating today!

and for the record...I had 3 different Leo posters on my wall in high school and yes I did stand in line to get titanic on vhs at midnight at blockbuster when it came out, my mother was less than pleased. That year at the band recital we played the theme song and I was thrilled to have a solo on my clarinet! Can I mention that I asked my mother to sew me a prom dress similar to Rose's in titanic and that I saw that movie in theaters about 15 times (mainly so I could stay out past curfew lol) I also have romeo & juliet soundtrack and movie, what's eating gilbet grape, and the basketball diaries....needless to say I still think Leo is a hunk lol

I can proudly admit I have grown out of my JTT infatuation though! haha

A few times a week, I drive past the entrance to Oheka Castle and it makes me smile...... I love my neighborhood, I just hate my tiny tiny house and I want to move, not far, just to a nicer house.

Apparently I grew up right around where you live!

I used to go to the 4th of July parties at the Castle. Sooo much fun!

Hi Gemgirl, I totally missed your response! I moved off the island around 5 years ago but both my parents are still there. Does he still have the parties on the 4th of July? If so, it''s so much fun and a great opportunity to explore the castle. I''m thinking he probably stopped with the parties now that it''s an event venue though.

I am so proud of my DD, she was nominated for The Student award of Merit at University of Pennsylvania. She just arrived in Europe so this was a really nice way to start her trip!!!
