Several years ago DH and I were purchasing something in a lovely gift shop in Staint Georges Island, Bermuda. The women handling our transaction had a HUGE solitaire set in YG paired with a very wide filigree YG band. Much like yours. My eyes about popped out of my head! I still think about her rings and how gorgeous this combination is! Congratulations and wear in good health.

Thank You! I love both thin and wide bands equally. Alternate band and you get totally opposite look. Thick bands are maybe little dated, but to me it screams VERY married. Nice travel memory, by the way.

I tried cure my fever year ago by stacking platinum Zoe with gold bands, but it didn’t work. This setting was the perfect medicine!!!

There is always room to different metals. I like platinum with colored stone, like my Mahenge garnet. But for my oec, after all tryings, yg is perfect.
And yes, I made some drawings to my goldsmith near me and rest is history.
