Hi all,
I have been thinking about getting diamond huggies for years (not an exaggeration as revealed by my post history), and I think I'm finally ready to go ahead. But I'd love your opinions.
I've worn a pair of 1.1ctw BGD 8-prong studs almost every day for the last four years. I like that I can wear them with absolutely anything - not overly ostentatious but extremely brilliant and pretty. I'm not that flashy of an individual, but I could definitely handle a bit more than the studs. I'm hoping the huggies will be wearable with anything from T-shirt and sweatpants to business formal attire.
So I've scoured the huggie threads and I'm quite torn. DS' thread was extremely helpful - I really like the diameter of the whiteflash 1.0ctw huggies, but I like the size the stones better on the 1.5ctw. I do want huggies rather than hoops.
My piercing is 8-9mm from the bottom of my lobe.
Then I saw the IDJ 2.0 huggies. The diameter of the setting appears to be 17mm, which is larger than the 1.0 WF (16mm) but smaller than the 1.5WF setting (18mm). I also like the idea of a smaller setting with the larger stones... but I'm unsure about the stone quality of the IDJ piece, even with the "PS quality" stones. Maybe it's the photos, but the stones dont quite come across as well as the WF ones.
Anyway, I'd love to hear any thoughts, experiences, or advice.
