How much would your dream diamond cost?

Dover Jewlery has my dream ring- 3+ carat princess with trap sides in platinum for $35K. With taxes plus I'd want a matching princess cut eternity band, hence the $40K budget. Chump change, you know

It's just so elegant and classy, it doesn't need to be big...

Unfortunately I don't know exactly how much it would cost, probably around 20-25k$ ?

What a fun thread

Well my "realistic" (maybe for the ten-year anniversary) dream diamond would be a round AGS 0, E-F color, eye-clean stone around 1.5 carats in a simple solitaire setting. I think that stone will be plenty big on my size 4 finger...

I would also love a 3ct Octavia asscher (not sure what setting, maybe a simple bezel) and a 2.5ct AVC in a Leon Mege pave halo setting. Let's add a 1.5ct OEC to the list too. Hey a girl can have several fantastic pieces in her dreams, right?

Realistically a 3.5 marquise VS1 F.... one day when the kids are grown... simply because of the cost....

But of course my dream diamond would be over 6 carats ( would love decent finger coverage!) ... I have very large hands, so even a 2 carat on me looks like a 1 carat on a size 5 finger...

Simply put for me, a 4 carat RB on my hand is going to have the same finger coverage as a 2 carat RB on a size 5.... which STINKS for me! I really could see a 6 ct as not over powering my hand LOL.... especially since I think 3 carats on a size 5 is a great look!
