How do emerald cuts look in lower colours?

Hi!
I have a ring that is very similar in size and setting. It's an L color. In most lights it does not have a very noticeable yellow tinge. At dusk it does take on a very yellow cast. Even with a low color it's still very full of life and a real conversation piece.
Can you see the ring you like in person? Do they have a return policy if you are not happy?

This is Asscher Girl 's K coloured EC. It looks awesome!!

I have U-V stone myself but it's an OEC and faces up relatively white. Not sure if I would go that 'low' with an EC as they tend to show more tint? Would be great if you could see the stone in person.

Rubies R Me - Holy cat balls!!! I think that is the biggest ec I have EVER seen??!!

Whether it sings or looks dull/lifeless is due to cut, and colour has little to no bearing on it.

+1 I just selected a K color over a bunch of D-F colors in my EC search based on cut.

Thanks Alex T. :wavey:
What the stone lacks in fine color it makes up in size!

I think they look fabulous! Don't have one myself, but I fell in love with an L-Mish (can't remember exact color) emerald cut with ruby sidestones in yellow gold on DBL's website awhile back.

they look ivory ish. in some angles. White in others. They are very pretty, but I do suggest you go see some for your self.

The larger the stone though, the more apparent the tint seems to be. I saw a 4 carat J color RA once and it was very tinted. A UV colored diamond is going to have a straight on hue.

I'm really flex on color - but not clarity with an EC. I'd go for it!!!!
