Help please from the experts!
I have an E VS1 EC that I would like to re-set some time in the future, and one of the designs I am considering is a 3-stone bezel.
When my mum was selecting stones for her 6-stone step cut square band, she bought two of the larger stones, about 0.4ct each from the same parcel, with the intention of setting them as earrings for me at a later date. That was over 30 years ago, and she is going to give them to me to do as I please (she has already given me her 6-stone band).
I thought of using these 2 stones as side stones for my EC re-set, however, I notice that they are not as white as my EC, more like G/H. The difference is noticeable in this picture too, my EC in the middle with the 6-stone band to its right.

The 3-stone setting I have in mind would have each stone individually bezel-set, something like this:

Would the colour difference between the main stone and the side stones too significantly different for it to work?
It will save me a small fortune not having to fork out two 0.4ct side stones for the new ring.
Thanks for your advice in advance.
