Hey you Chicago GTG PS'ers ~ anyone see this setting?

So I've loosened a prong on my double diamond ring and before I get it fixed I thought, hmmm maybe this is the diamond gods way of getting me closer to my three stone!
I am thinking of putting the larger diamond in this setting while I locate a match for the smaller diamond.
The larger stone is 7.78 the smaller one is 6.5 measured with my calipers in setting.
I was wondering if when you guys visited DZ you saw this setting?
I figure its not pricey and it will give me something new to look at for a bit till I find the third sister.

Nope. I went thru all my pics of both diamondZone visits ... And I do not have a pic of that. Sorry.

But! I can vouch that their repro settings are amazingly well executed. My OMC 3 stone is in a repro and the details are very fine and delicate and the milgraining is excellent.

IMO it would be worth taking a chance on.

I'm going to go for it I think. My husband thinks I should just get the prong fixed. Me I figure I can always do that, but, this gives me a chance to have "new " bling for however long it takes to find the third diamond. Plus if I do go with the three stone, I can put another stone in this setting and that's a win,win,win!

YAY!!! Its a beautiful setting! and no matter what you put in there next (CS of *ANY* colour!!) would look totally awesome!! Are you going w WG or unplated WG or RG?? I don't think I saw a sample of RG while we were there --- mainly WG w the odd YG piece.

I'm with you on your thinking --- you can get a prong fixed anytime, a new ring... well... now *THAT'S* a cause for celebration, cuz, you just KNOW you'll be a far better human being w a NEW ring vs a REPAIRED ring... right???

I remember seeing some settings in the case. They all looked pretty but none stood out to me. If I wasn't away on business next week I'd offer to go in and take some photos for you. It would give me another chance to ogle that pretty yg 3-stone.

Only on PS would a complete stranger offer to go out of their way in such a generous way. I know the ulterior motive is to ogle bling, but still!
I'm thinking of emailing and see if I can get real life pics.

Elisa I can second Enerchi's opinion, the setting her omc three stone is in is very detailed and lovely.
