Helzberg necklace

I got this piece at a good deal from eBay. It's a Helzberg 18k sapphire and diamond necklace. I love the art deco look of it.

I know nothing about Helzberg...never been to their store, I am not familiar with what they sell.

Can anyone shed some light on Helzberg? Are they like a Birks? Do they sell quality pieces?

I also wonder how recent or how old my necklace could be...?

Helzberg is a mall store but I don’t know much about them. The sapphire might be lab.

They're a chain store like Zales, Peoples i think in Canada? So basically what "normal" people go to typically. Not to bash it though. Those types of stores are where I started getting my own jewellery to my own taste because of special Restyle events. Then I found local independent stores and stopped going to mall chain stores except to look just because I'm obsessed and shiney is shiney!

I can't speak to your stuff though. If you think it's pretty than I wouldn't worry where it came from!
