Helping my mom find a replacement ring!

You know how they say that if a ring is loose, it can fall off when you go swimming? Well it’s TRUE!

My mom lost her wedding band in the ocean. She mourned the loss but is over it now. It was a 14k yellow gold channel band with round diamonds. Not really her style- she prefers white metals nowadays.

She likes my aunt’s ring (photo on a finger) and I found some rings similar. My mom’s ring size is 8.5 for a thin band so I’m guessing 9.5 for a wide one.

If you spot any deals, let me know! My mom and dad are prepared to spend $3k but they’re frugal people so lower is better! Preloved is fine, too. Probably best if the band has the option to be resized, as opposed to being an eternity band.

Have you had a spin through Ruby Lane at all? Sometimes there are some great pieces on there that are just waiting for the right buyer to stumble along and give them a home. I found a few on there browsing through (while watching this boring Super Bowl game); some may be sizeable, but not sure. Either way, I thought I’d pass them along in the event they may be of interest or even perhaps inspiration for having something custom made for her.
