Help with setting designs

Looking for help with my setting that DK is doing for me. The first one is a simple solitaire setting for an 8.5 mm stone. I am also resetting my 7 stone wedding band. My stones are each 10 pointers. Would appreciate any advice since I am pretty much a newbie.

I like the simplicity on the solitaire and together they look well-matched!

I think my only concern would be where the prongs/basket meets the wedding ring - it looks like the diamond in the centre of the wedding ring might be touching the prong on the engagement ring in the bottom right image, which could cause damage to the stone and/or prong.

You might therefore need to perhaps buy a (1mm?) spacer ring to sit between them if you like them as they are and they do rub together in real life when made!
