Help! Our 10th anniversary is in 2 weeks, and I'm desperately in need of some guidance on choosing an eternity band for my beautiful wife. The band would be worn on the same finger with her diamond solitaire engagement ring (1.2 carat, round, G color, IF). She's fairly active, and I want to make sure it's something she's not afraid to wear (out of concern that she'll lose one of the stones. I'm leaning toward a channel setting. I'm looking to spend up to about $10,000 -- a little over would be fine; a little under would be fine too. I've had good experiences with Blue Nile, so I started there and am leaning toward one of these choices:

I'd lean toward the more expensive one, but am slightly concerned 4 carats of diamonds would overwhelm her engagement ring, which she loves.

These choices from Tiffany's all looked good too, but I don't want to spend a lot extra just to get the blue box. :twirl:

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

You'll get more help with this in Rocky Talk. Hit report concern and ask to have the thread moved.

In my opinion if the intention is to wear the eternity on the same hand with the e-ring 4mm is going to be too wide.
I also think that you should stick with rounds for this. Classic look and beautiful sparkle.
Have you looked thru this thread? https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/show-me-your-diamond-eternity-bands.51825/

Also most prefer prong set to channel set. Look thru the above thread, narrow down what you think you want. Make absolutely sure you know her exact ring size. Eternity bands are not sizeable.
I think you can get a gorgeous band from WF or BGD for much less than your budget. They only use ideal cut diamonds and are known for gorgeous craftsmanship on these bands. I hope to "surprise" myself with one for my next birthday and plan on getting quotes from those two vendors. Perhaps put the difference into a diamond pendant? Or in the bank :))

I'd recommend prong set as well; I have both, and with a simple solitaire I prefer my prong set band. The look is classic and sparkly and just lovely. I'd also put the money into high quality stones and metal work, and not go too high on the carat weight if the rings are meant to be worn together. Something like this Tiffany band, but working with an online vendor could get you more carat weight and ideal diamonds:
