Hello everyone, i'm new to this thread and joined mainly because I need help finding a 3ct oval for my girlfriend. I'd love to buy her the best ring possible with a 30-60k budget. Any help or links on how to find the best lose stone would be great, I'm 26 and she's 25 if that's any help (saw other people post their ages in threads not sure why but I'll add it just in case it's required). Thank you.

She has also sent me this videos of the look and setting she'd like so if you could help me find a diamond that looks like the ones in the video but better quality that would be great.

that's a generous budget, i'm sure you'll find something amazing. i think people put their age sometimes b/c younger brides may not be as comfortable with larger rings...or maybe just cuz, not really sure.

i find ovals so pretty but a lot of them have a "bowtie" effect (dark area across the center). posters should be along shortly to point you to some good ones. you may also want to check out august vintage ovals that are cut to give the effect of a round brilliant (more sparkle). they are deeper than traditional ovals, not sure if anyone else is selling something comparable.

if you search threads for lauren b you'll probably find some reviews of the settings. for a 3ct ring, a pave band that thin has risk of warping and losing stones, just beware if you go that route. that setting style is very common btw, you could find it at lots of jewelers.

good luck!

Thank you! We looked at lauren b and reading from this thread their are better jewelers and we won't be purchasing from him/her, we originally found them when my girlfriend was looking for settings and was interested in those 2 ovals and a pear.
