2) Diamond 2: 1.55ct; E color; VVS2 clarity

Would you please also advise on the reason to choose one over another?

I wouldn’t choose based on numbers alone. Do you have pictures, videos?

Hi SouthernElle,

I have revised my original post. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to upload videos.

Please advise.

You can upload them to YouTube and then put the link.

What are the prices? What is your budget? Have you seen both in real life? Based on the numbers they should both be high performing diamonds. They both fall under the AGS Ideal and GIA excellent standards. I can’t imagine you would notice a .1mm ish size difference and unless you’re unbelievably sensitive to color, they will both look super icy white. For me it would probably come down to cost.

Someone might chime in on star length, but I’m not nearly knowledgeable enough to explain that. :lol-2:

Both of them are at the same price, around $30K CAD, which is my budget.

Yes, I have seen both diamonds in real life, but the store lighting is very different at both stores. The 1.55ct seems to be super sparkly while the 1.64ct seems to be very fiery. From my observation, I could tell that the 1.64ct is a bit bigger than the 1.55ct; however, the 1.64ct is a bit yellower than the 1.55ct. As a result, I am trying to choose the one that has the better cut overall since the differences in size and color are minimum.

Please advise.
