Hi all,
I am new to PS and have been taking my time to learn about diamonds as well as reading forums. There is so much wealth of knowledge here! I need help. I am set for 2 ct size, at least G color and up, and eye clean si1 or si2. What do you think of this and the wisps? It is eye clean from top view. But when i looked at an angle, can see a small gray inclusion on the side. Whats your opinion and recommendations pls!

It scores above 2 on the HCA, so I would reject it. The angles aren't complementary, so overall I think you can find better.

Ok thanks for helping to rule that out.

Now back to the search again:doh:what about these?

First two are from WF ACA with have an HCA score of 1.2 and 1.1. Do you know how can i tell if the inclusions are obvious or they are eye clean? it states that they are in the stats...

Last one is 0.8 at a lower cost. Can the ES be just as beautiful and sparkly compared to ACA if the HCA score is still considerable?

Sorry for so many questions and TIA! :)

Whiteflash vets their stones so if they say it's eye clean, it's eye clean to their standard which I think is 12 inches?

The Expert Selection can often be an excellent value. I wouldn't reject one at all since they have very strict parameters for the ACA but the ES misses them by a very small margin. It's still an ideal cut stone and the savings can be significant. However that last one is not an expert selection, so I'm not sure if that's the link you meant to post.

You don't need to use the HCA for super ideal (branded) stones like A Cut Above or Crafted By Infinity. They are all cut to super ideal proportions. HCA is for GIA certified stones that aren't branded super ideals. Any of the ACAs will be amazing. See my other comment about the last stone you posted. It's not an expert selection.

Ahh youre right! the one I posted was not an expert selection, but thank you for that info as I can help broaden my search!
